Animal Dreaming Publishing

Our vision is to assist and empower
existing and aspiring authors
to bring their unique messages to the world.

Animal Dreaming Publishing is an independent, Brisbane-based family-owned hybrid publisher specialising in mind-body-spirit books (print, electronic and audio), oracles, affirmations, and more. As a hybrid publishing network, Animal Dreaming Publishing offers both traditional publishing and assisted self-publishing services, however traditional publishing is offered by invitation only. Animal Dreaming Publishing is the owner of imprints Five Kings Press and Little Owl Books.

We offer an accessible pathway for first time and existing authors to get professionally published. Our self-publishing packages are specifically targeted to your requirements and offer a variety of professional services to ensure your work is published at the highest of standards. Our hand-picked team of editors, typesetters, designers and proofreaders provide a high level of care in turning manuscript into a book or card deck that is beautiful inside and out.

As a self-published author you retain 100% publishing rights, 100% financial returns (after costs) and shared control over the production of your book from start to finish. Self-published authors are offered opportunities for distribution throughout Australia, US, New Zealand, UK and Canada.

Founded in 2003 by Scott Alexander King and Trudy King, Animal Dreaming was conceived as a way of promoting Scott’s first self-published book by the same name.

In 2013, Animal Dreaming Publishing was established to assist other authors self-publish and showcase their work globally. Our first two self-published titles were The Oracle of the Innocent Heart by Scott Alexander King and From Grief to Goddess by Jude Downes.

Over the past 10 years we have assisted many authors and artists to self-publish their work, with some authors producing multiple titles.
