Playing the Hand we are Dealt

Playing the Hand we are Dealt tells the true story of one person’s experience while journeying the well-trodden road called ‘Life’. While similarities may be shared, everyone has their own life experiences that tend to differ in one way or another to everyone else’s. No two stories are ever truly the same. But, when I first embarked on the Melanoma Journey with my husband, I would never have dreamed it would involve two separate battles: a physical battle, endured on a personal level by my husband that included poking, prodding and pain, and a psychological one, experienced by the both of us that would see us challenged mentally but feel somehow enriched by the experience.
