Alone, confused and pursued by anonymous members of a malevolent government organisation, Flame the Dragon wanders aimlessly through present day rural Victoria, Australia. Desperate to feel safe, to trust and to belong in such a strange time and place, he seeks help from a human family who offer him sanctuary and answers to his questions. Dramatic, humorous and magical, Flame’s story is a classical fable with a modern day twist that promises challenges and surprise at every turn!

Author Bio

Anne Harvey
Becoming a published author has been a cherished life-long dream for Anne Harvey, who today lives in Victoria with her canine family – M, a pedigree cocker spaniel and Ollie, a mixed-breed rescue from The Lost Dogs Home.

When asked to describe what inspired her first book, ‘DRAGON IN A SOUP TUREEN’, Anne suggests mixing a heaped spoonful of love for domestic animals, a passion for all things literary and a fascination for mythical creatures, such as dragons, with a liberal dose of quirky imagination and a dash of modern scientific pursuits.
